The forward-looking design of the Light Smoke soft shell facilitates aggressive skiing and riding in the backcountry. Its stretch-woven shell complements the dynamic motion of skiing, riding and climbing steep skin paths. Highly breathable, water- and wind-resistant, it’s also packable, thanks to Welded Seam technology that adds durability and reduces weight. Mesh-lined hand pockets pull double-duty as torso vents, releasing steam on the uphills; two chest pockets help organize the clutter of goggle wipes, ski scrapers and energy bars. The hood is adjustable in three ways and accommodates a helmet nicely. Interior features include a powder skirt with a pass holder, a mesh drop-in pocket (sized to hold skins) and an electronic-device pocket. The women’s fit is roomy enough for layering without losing a feminine shape.
